The world is waking up to the enormous challenge of global warming—we all hope we have awakened in time to slow or even reverse it. With this awareness, much public attention has rightfully been directed to energy use, especially in buildings (heating, cooling, lighting), and in transportation (cars, trucks, planes) as major sources of greenhouse gases.
